Online Registration

We are excited to now offer you online registration.  Online registration saves you time by allowing you to only fill out one registration form for multiple players/cheerleaders you may have in your family.  Once you complete the registration form, you will be given the option of paying online using a credit card, eCheck, or PayPal, or you may print your registration and mail it with your check. Register Now!


Registration Fees:

There is a maximum family registration fee charge of $200.00.  

Cheerleading has additional costs outside of the registration fee for clothing that is paid for and kept after the season by the participant.  Items include a warm-up jacket and pants, cheer briefs, and socks.  If these items were purchased the prior year, and the participant is not moving up to the A-League, they can be re-used and not purchased again this year.

There will be a $25.00 fee charged for all returned checks.

The 2009 registration fees for each participant are as follows:

  • $95.00 - Tackle Football (A & B - Leagues, Grades 4 -7)
  • $30.00 - Flag Football (A & B - Leagues, Grades K - 3) 
  • $45.00 - Cheerleading (Grades 3 - 7)

Late Fees:

Any registrations postmarked, or submitted online, after May 31, 2009 will be forced to pay a late fee.  Additionally, any registrations that are received after July 13, 2009 are NOT guaranteed placement for the Tackle Football leagues and Cheerleading!  This is due to football players needing to participate in the evaluation prior to the league draft, and cheerleading needing time to order their apparel and equipment.  Flag football leagues will accept players at any time, even after the season starts.  The maximum family registration fee increases to $250 for late registrations.

The 2009 late fees for each participant are as follows:
  • $35.00 - Tackle Football (A & B - Leagues, Grades 4 -7)
  • $20.00 - Flag Football (A & B - Leagues, Grades K - 3)
  • $25.00 - Cheerleading (Grades 3 - 7)

Mail-in Registrations:

While we prefer to have everybody complete their registration online so the league officials do not need to re-enter your information into our system, you still have the option to print out and fill in your registration by hand.  Download the 2009 Football Registration or 2009 Cheerleader Registration, print it and mail your completed form and payment to the address below. 

If you want to pay by check, you can still complete the registration online, then mail the automatically generated registration form along with your payment in the form of a check to:

Additional Notes:

  • All new players to A & B Tackle Leagues must participate in one of the draft evaluation sessions. The dates will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 and Tuesday July 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the B League field between Sauder Elementary and Jackson Memorial Middle School.
     
  • Players will be notified by their coach by July 25.
     
  • Flag players will be notified by their coach in mid August.
     
  • Any 3rd grader wishing to participate in the B League must meet the following criteria:
     
    • Must be 9 years of age by July 1.
       
    • Must submit a copy of your birth certificate
       
    • Must request and sign a letter of acknowledgement of league rules.
       
    • Must have board approval
       
    • There will be no guarantee of minimum playing time for 3rd graders. The B League is primarily a fourth grade and fifth grade league, and playing time, if any, will be determined by the coaches.
       
  • You will be notified of what squad you are on shortly after the draft which is on July 22, 2009.
     
  • Practice schedules for the entire season will be passed out the first day of practice on August 3, 2009.
     
  • The Kick Off Classic is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009 in the evening. All cheerleaders will cheer for their team that night.
     
  • Games are held on Saturdays between 9:00 and 3:00 Beginning August 29, 2009.
     
  • Practice will begin the first week of August. That first week we will practice Monday thru Thursday 6:00 - 8:00.
     
    • The second week we will have a MANDATORY practice Tuesday thru Thursday 6:00 - 8:00.
    • After that all practice will usually be Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00 until September 17th, 2009
    • After that we will practice on Saturdays 1 hour prior to game time
       
  • All cheerleaders will provide their own white shoes. DO NOT purchase these until you have met with your "Cheer Mom" in August.
     
  • All Cheerleaders will need a JYFA CHEER warm up. If you own one from last year and it still fits there is no need to place another order on the registration form. If you are new to JYFA cheerleading or your warm up from last year does not fit, you will need to place an order on the registration for a warm up. PRIOR to turning in your registration form, you will need to be fitted for the warm up so you can correctly select your size on the registration form.

  • Each Squad is supervised by two cheer moms. If you are interested in being a cheer mom check the appropriate line on the registration form and we will contact you. We will have a "Cheer Mom Meeting" prior to the start of the season.
